Along with learning to measure dose, the understanding and acknowledgement of accumulated dose is critical in radiation and safety training. Teletrix Simulated Alarming Dosimeters allow you to experience the realism of a working dosimeter without exposure to sources of ionizing radiation.
Designed with flexibility in mind, the Simulated Alarming Dosimeter resembles a typical dosimeter whose operation would be familiar to radiation professionals. Operating characteristics are user specified and can be customized to reproduce alarm functions, patterns and tones specific to many OEM dosimeters. When used with other Teletrix simulators, the Simulated Alarming Dosimeter will appear to accumulate dose at the same varying rate as the meter with which it is paired. As with all Teletrix equipment, trainees learn in a safe virtual environment where they “train like they work” and adhere to the spirit of ALARA.
